Uzhgorod.in immediately asked the Director General of the RSTBC Vitaly Meshcheryakov for a comment.

Now we have the information that we have to close down the RSTBC as a legal entity and to join the NTCU with all the staff. The reorganization should be completed by November 1. We appeal to the leadership of the region and trade unions to support our appeal for the preservation of the Transcarpathian RSTBC as a separate legal entity. I hope consulates will support us too, as we have national departments. And in general, that we will not be left on the periphery." "As for broadcast, everything remains as it was, we work as usual. But what will happen next – we’ll see. In particular, how we will work during the election campaign", – Meshcheryakov said.
