Ticket for the train Kosice – Mukachevo will cost 7.5 euros

Ticket for the train Kosice-Mukachevo will cost about 7.5 euros. The train will make the first run on June 9, 2019. The timetable will be announced later.

The trip from Mukachevo to Slovakia will take 4 hours. The train will run along the route Kosice – Cierna nad Tisou – Chop – Mukachevo. Recall that on April 2 this year, a successful test trip was made on this route.

The joint decision on the launch of the new train Mukachevo-Kosice was adopted in February this year in Kyiv during a meeting of the management of the railway companies of Ukraine and Slovakia. During the negotiations it was decided that the transportation will be carried out by the rolling stock of the Slovak party, since the Ukrzaliznytsya does not use passenger trains for the 1435 mm wide track.
