Thrifty Uzhgorod citizens will receive money for “smart” energy consumption

The Department of Labor and Social Welfare of Uzhgorod City Council informed about applications for pay-out of the share of saved subsidies. 

This year, more than 2,000 households using gas and about 200 households using electricity for heating have already filed applications for monetization of the share of saved subsidies to the Department of Labor and Welfare of the Uzhgorod City Council.

At the beginning of the heating period, those, who filed a relevant application by September 1, will receive a monetary reward for "smart" energy consumption. Recall that the households, that saved the equivalent of the cost of 150 kilowatts of electricity, if this resource was used for heating, or 100 cubic meters of gas, are eligible for monetization.

In addition, we inform that Uzhgorod residents, who for good reason have not filed applications to the social welfare authorities, can still do it by November 1 of this year. The term for filing an application for receiving monetary equivalent of unused housing subsidies may be extended by a decision of the commission.
