Valentyn Frechka is the inventor of the technology for making paper from fallen leaves. In June 2018, the inventor from Transcarpathia Valentyn Frechka received gold medal at the Genius Olympiad (New York, USA) for his project Recycle Of Fallen Leaves. Frechka’s idea is based on the use of fallen leaves from city parks. The paper from fallen leaves is suitable for the production of containers and packages. Together with employees of the Zhytomyr Cardboard Plant, Valentyn Frechka managed to launch industrial production of paper from fallen leaves.
Alina Pash is an authentic rapper, ethno and hip-hop performer originally from Transcarpathia. Finalist of the sixth season of the vocal show "X-Factor". She broke into the Ukrainian music scene with the single "Bitanga" in 2018. She released two albums Pintea: Gory and Pintea: Misto in 2019. She has been nominated for 4 music awards, collaborated with many Ukrainian stars.
Antonio Lukic is a 28-year-old film and TV director from Uzhgorod. He became famous thanks to his debut lyrical comedy "My Thoughts Are Silent". He received a Special Jury Prize at the 54th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. In Ukraine, the film premiered during the Odesa International Film Festival, where Antonio Lukic’s film won the Audience Award, the FIPRESCI Award for Best Ukrainian Film, the Award for Best Acting and a special mention from the jury.
