According to the director of the Regional clinical infectious diseases hospital, Mykhailo Polyak, each patient is in an isolated box and will be kept there until the final of the diagnosis (positive or negative).

"The director of the department of health care of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Ye. Birov has informed that in the regional infectious diseases hospital there are three persons who had biological materials collected and sent to Kyiv reference laboratory for testing for COVID-19.

The doctor noted that 80 percent of the disease cases have a mild course, and only 20% are severe. Moreover, only about 3.5 percent of patients need lung ventilators.
