The accident occurred this morning, on Tolstoy street. The driver lost control and crashed into a tree.
As the main office of the national police in Uzhgorod told to the Mukachevo.net, they received the report of a traffic accident at about 2:39.
At the scene, the investigating team found out that the driver of a Land Rover Freelander at high speed lost control and drove onto the oncoming lane, and then collided with the tree.
As a result of the accident, three people – born in 1990, 1994 and 1989 – died. Another passenger born in 1992 is in a hospital with various kinds of polytrauma.
All victims of the accident are foreigners.
Law enforcement officers are still working at the scene. Legal classification is being decided.
