The international dance festival-competition for children and youth "PADIYUN-EURO-DANCE" was held for the eleventh time. This year it brought together over 1,000 participants. For two consecutive years, this dance event takes place within the festival marathon initiated by the "PADIYUN", during which the children and youth festival-contest of national cultures and folk art "Bright Country Transcarpathia – 2016", the III Open festival-competition of modern children and youth creativity "Bright Country Transcarpathia – 2016" and the International festival-competition "Slavic Venec – 2016" also take place. This is stated on the site of Uzhgorod Palace of Children and Youth Creativity.
The participants of the "PADIYUN-EURO-DANCE 2016" this year presented new, modern, exciting dances. Traditionally, they competed in several categories, namely – "Folk Dance", "Modern Dance" and "Modern choreography. Solo. Duet". These categories were further divided into age groups. The dances were rated by a highly qualified jury.
As we reported. for three consecutive days, Uzhgorod plunged into the atmosphere of dance. The festival of young dancers once again demonstrated that there are children to be proud of in our region, as Transcarpathian dancers won several prizes in dance battles:
