Three-day-long “Medovukha Fest” in Uzhgorod

The traditional three-day-long "Medovukha Fest" has started in Uzhgorod, near the historical and cultural center "Owl’s Nest".

The annual honey drink holiday is organized by the Association of Beekeepers of Transcarpathia with the support of Uzhgorod City Council. 
More than three dozen manufacturers presented their products there. The best beekeepers of the region brought to the festival in Uzhgorod honey, pollen, propolis, sweets and even honey-based cosmetics, and so on.

There are many winemakers too, but medovukha is considered the main drink at the holiday. The participants of the festival are ready to tell everyone the secrets of its production and even to hold a master class. 

Here you can also buy homemade cheeses, sausages, handmade souvenirs and more. The organizers also have prepared an interesting concert program. 
The official opening of the festival will be held on Saturday, February 16, at 13.00. The "Medovukha Fest" will continue until Sunday evening, February 17.
