A thousand chrysanthemum bushes have been planted at the regional oncologic dispensary in Uzhgorod. Within an hour and a half, the territory of the medical facility turned into a multi-colored carpet. Doctors say that a positive attitude, harmony and good emotions are part of personal health and promote faster healing of patients.
According to the chief doctor of the Transcarpathian regional cancer center Andriy Rusin, these flowers were presented by patrons, and the regional association of oncologists helped to implement the plan. "A patient, coming to our institution, must initially receive only positive emotions and be determined to recover. And we, as doctors, will make every effort to help them," – the chief physician of the institution said.
It is believed that chrysanthemum – a symbolic flower – gives longevity, happiness and warmth. It is considered a symbol of courage, power, and even immortality. In ancient philosophical treatises it is stated that contemplating the beauty of this flower casts thoughts of the past, helps to analyze mistakes in life and grants wisdom, which a man receives having overcome certain challenges.
