Esthetic education schools and cultural educational institutions of Transcarpathian are also celebrating the holiday of September 1, the Department of Culture of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration informs.
In particular, the first bell will rang in 64 schools of esthetic education.
This year about 15 thousand students will be acquiring elementary art education, including 158 pupils in zero grade, and 1979 pupils in first grade.
As for higher art education, it is represented by four institutions in the region.
Uzhgorod State Music College in the new academic year will be providing professional training to 239 students, 66 of whom are freshmen.
The total number of students in Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts is 298, including 87 freshmen.
173 people have entered Transcarpathian Art Academy and A.Erdelyi College of Arts, and the total number of students in the new academic year will be 462.
