This year, the “patriotic tax” paid by Transcarpathians amounted to more than 170 million hryvnias

Over the ten months of 2017, Transcarpathians paid to the budget UAH 170.3 million of the military tax, which is UAH 38.3 million more than that in the corresponding period of the last year.

According to the Main Office of State Fiscal Service in Transcarpathian region, in October 2017 alone, UAH 17.7 million was paid for the strengthening of the country’s defense.

Specialists of the SFS in Transcarpathia state that all categories of business actively support the Ukrainian army, transparently and regularly paying this "patriotic tax". As a result, since the introduction of the military tax in Ukraine (August 2014), the taxpayers of the region have transferred to the state budget almost 514 million hryvnia for the needs of the army.

The fiscal office of the region generates a clear and transparent administration of this strategic payment, and specialists take active measures for legalization of labor that strengthen the real sector of the economy and raise the tax culture.
