On Wednesday, April 8, in the Transcarpathian Regional Military Commissariat, there was a solemn dispatch of recruits for military service.
38 soldiers from all over the region will go to training centers in Mykolaiv and Lviv region.
The head of the region Vasyl Hubal, the acting Transcarpathian military commissar, Colonel Oleksandr Hoda, participants of the ATO and fightings in Afghanistan, as well as parents and friends came to congratulate and support recruits.
In his speech, Vasyl Hubal expressed pride for young countrymen who are going ti serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, urged them to continue the glorious traditions of Transcarpathian soldiers and wished them good health and success in the service, peaceful sky, and most importantly, to return home alive and matured.
The deputy military commissar, chief of the department for personnel Petro Marko, in turn, said that this year 480 Transcarpathians are conscripted for military service in the Armed Forces and other military units of Ukraine. "Recruits will not be sent to the ATO zone. They will serve at the bases of military units" – Petro Marko assured.
At the end of the solemn ceremony, priests blessed the recruits.
