This year, 2 million will be spent for the preservation of cultural heritage

The regional integrated program of preservation and use of cultural heritage has been amended in terms of funding. This year, it is planned to allocate about 2 million hryvnia for the program. 

507,000 UAH is allocated for certification of wooden churches, for repair of the roof of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Sokyrnytsia, 140,000 UAH – to restore the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Izky. 255,000 UAH has been allocated for the overhaul of the heating system in the puppet theater "Bavka", 190,000 UAH has been spent for facsimile edition of the "Royal Gospel 1401", 60,000 UAH – to purchase a memorial plaque to Mykhailo Krechko (on his 90th anniversary) and 40,000 UAH is planned to be spent to purchase DVDs "Interiors and Iconostasis of Wooden Churches of Transcarpathia."
