On April 2-3, the water level on the Latorica river – the city of Chop will continue rising, and a significant layer of water will remain on the floodplain. In the second half of the day, on the Latorica river – the city of Chop the maximum water level – 670-700 cm – is expected.
On April 2-3, the water level on the Tisa river – the city of Chop will continue rising by 1.0-1.5 m, due to the flood wave from the upper reaches.
Yesterday in the region there were occasional small rains, in the mountains – with 1-4 mm sleet.On the rivers, steady decline in water levels was recorded. On the Tisa, as of 8:00, the maximum level formed near the village of Vylok. Increase of the water levels continued in the lower reaches of: the Borzhava – 30 cm the Latorica – 86 cm, the Tisa – the city of Chop – 1.4 m.
During the day, slow decline of water levels on the rivers will continue, in the lower reaches of the Borzhava the maximum level will be formed with the increase by 5-20 cm.
