They started Monday: Krasnodontsi Street in Uzhgorod is under repair

They plan to complete the repair by the end of the week.

"Many Uzhgorod residents have suffered because of terrible condition of Krasnodontsi Street. A lot of people every day drive to the market, also there is an active traffic to Horyany on this street. So we decided to start repair works on Monday, which is a day off for the local market, in order not to hamper the vehicular traffic. If the weather is favourable, we will finish repairing the road surface by the end of this week," – the Acting Mayor Victor Shchadey said.

"A month ago, residents of Krasnodontsi Street appealed to the Acting Mayor requesting to repair the road surface. People complained about large pits on the road. Together we prepared the appeal to Victor Shchadey, and today we see the result – finally the road is being repaired" – the defender Vasyl Popovich said.
