Employees of the State Enterprise "Mokra Forestry and Hunting Range" are finishing large-scale works for the construction of the mountain road that residents of several districts were dreaming about.
First of all, experts carried out surveying in the mountains, studied the territorial characteristics, took into account advice of foresters, after that the road design was made, documents and permissions were approved and the building of the new road started. The total length of the mountain road will be only 4.5 km, with the width of 6 meters.
According to the Director of the "Mokra FHR" Volodymyr Kutsyn, first of all they identified all of the difficulties in the project. In addition to their own equipment, they had to engage more specialized machines. After that, they made a deal with the company "Fores TSK" which delivered a Japanese excavator "Hitachi" to the site. Currently, they only need to pour some gravel of the road and it can be commissioned.
"This road has three aspects: economic, social and tourism. It will serve both to our forestry and to local residents.And also, to tourists who come to rest in Transcarpathia and to enjoy our scenery. Here, at an altitude of one thousand meters above sea level, in the Prystup tract on the border of Tiachiv and Mizhhirya districts, the nature is incredibly beautiful. It attracts visitors from other regions", – Volodymyr Kutsyn said.
