The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krykliy said the government is planning a major reconstruction of the Dnipro airport, as well as the opening of airports in Mukachevo and Izmail.
He stated that during the presentation of his ministry’s action program on November 12.
"Next year, we are starting to reconstruct the airports in Dnipro, Mukachevo and Izmail," – Krykliy said.
According to him, the ministry aims to increase air mobility in Ukraine from 5 to 15%. He also said that they are planning to grant the airports to concession to investors. This currently applies to airports in Kherson, Chernivtsi and Zaporizhzhya.
There is currently a closed military airfield in Mukachevo.
