There must be order in the city! Municipal economy in numbers (documents)

Over 50 million hryvnias have been spent by Municipal Economy units of Uzhgorod City Council for the maintenance of the city.

According to the information taken from the official procurement site, the biggest beneficiaries are enterprises engaged in road repairing.

So, for example, in May this year, the Department of Municipal Economy, following the tender, allocated 412,000 UAH for the KSHEP for the "maintenance of stormwater drains on the streets of Uzhgorod". To the "Budavtodor" they allocated over 1.7 million for the "maintenance of the streets."

But, we have to admit, the most impressive amount is… 7,999,600 (!) hryvnias, provided by the estimates for the Municipal Road Maintenance Enterprise (KSHEP) in 2009 for the "sanitary processing and similar services (road maintenance)". In 2013, these costs were divided into several "lots", and the amount is about 3 million. And in February 2013, they provided nearly 1.5 million for the ME "AgroMix" on landscaping.
