"During the past day, April 10, 354 people sought emergency medical care, 13 of them had symptoms of acute pneumonia and 3 were suspected of having COVID-19," – the deputy director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Olga Chemet said.
73 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected:
– 4 persons were diagnosed with COVID-19;
– 7 people with signs of acute pneumonia, two persons suspected of having COVID-19 and 3 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were hospitalized in health care institutions over the past day;
Overall, as of 9.00 April 11, 2020, 60 patients were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the region. Six of them are health care workers.
In the past 24 hours, there has been one reported death from COVID-19. The deceased was a medical worker.
