October 1, on Teatralna sq., there will be the official opening ceremony of the XV International Festival of Theatre for Children "Interlialka."
The first festival day starts at 11.00 with the fair of arts and crafts and invitation for children to the fabulous "City of masters".
At 14.30, there will be jousting battles, a master class on ancient dances, animated games involving members of the historical reenactment club "Order of St. Nicholas" and students Uzhgorod College of Culture and Arts.
15.00 – performance of the brass band of Uzhgorod Music College.
15.15 – master-class on modern dance, dancing flash mob involving actors of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater.
15.30 – official opening of the festival. Presentation of the festival participants. Also, the children’s theater studio "Bavka", dancers of the modern dance studio "Blitz" and students of Uzhgorod Music School will be performing on the stage.
Finally, at 16.45, students of the department of puppet theater acting and directing of Kyiv National University of Theater, Film and Television will present the play "Punch and Judy".
