On April 20, Uzhgorod will host the first theater festival of chamber art. According to the director of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater Vasyl Maryukhnych, the idea of the seven-day event was prompted by the sakura, because in the second half of April, when it blooms, Uzhgorod becomes a tourist mecca.
In order to add artistic content to the traditional "Sakura Fest", it was decided to hold from 20 to 26 of April an outdoor theater festival called "Under the cherry blossoms." The festival will take place on the small stage of the theater, where three art projects have already been successfully implemented.
Ukraine’s leading theaters will come to Uzhgorod.
Given the limited number of seats in the small hall (only 77), the organizers ask fans of theater art to buy tickets in advance. By the way, they are much cheaper than usual tickets for touring performances in our city. Because the aim of the event is, first of all, the promotion of the small stage, this unique method of closest communication between actors and audience.
