On Tuesday there was a celebration of the 771st anniversary of the world famous strongman Ivan Firtsak-Croton native village and the Day of Apostles Peter and Paul.
Once the festive Divine Liturgy in the village churches finished, entertaining games, rides for children began. A fair with various products deployed in the center of the village. Guests and residents of Bilky, which is inhabited by more than 8500 people, could taste traditional Transcarpathian dishes, buy embroidery, handmade products and various utensils.
After the official part, there was a friendly match between the football teams of the village of Bilky and the city of Ibrány.
In the evening, all guests and residents of the village could attend the concert with the participation of People’s Artist of Ukraine Stepan Hiha. The festival program included a number of other events: drawing of gifts, concert, fireworks, disco and more.
