Poetry can be the answer to the deepest spiritual needs of a modern person, but it is necessary to attract wide public attention to it.

Today, on the World Poetry Day, the workers of the main library of the region held a street campaign "Poetry is always unique!" Traditionally, librarians went out on the streets of the city, distributing leaflets with poetry and promoting books, reading and libraries. They offered passers-by poems of Vasyl Symonenko, Vasyl Stus, Olena Teliha, Lina Kostenko, Volodymyr Sosyura, Lesya Ukrainka and other prominent Ukrainian poets.

People responded to the library leaflets with smiles, some stopped and read poetic lines, and Mrs. Nadia from Uzhgorod recited her favorite poem.

The library campaign was supported by the journalists of the Tisa-1, Tisa FM.
