The work for gasification of Bila Tserkva with local natural gas is being carried out in Transcarpathia

The "Ukrgasvydobuvannya" PJSC is conducting the survey of Transcarpathian region regarding the prospects for natural gas production. Thus, on the outskirts of the village of Bila Tserkva (Rakhiv district), experts of the company have discovered a deposit with the debit of 50 thousand cubic meters of gas per day. Now, they are carrying out the work for gas supply from the open field to the village of Solotvyno (Tyachiv district) and restoration of the gas supply system, which was operated there during the Soviet Union. After that, they plan to build a pipeline from Solotvyno to Bila Tserkva – one of the largest villages of Rakhiv district which still is not gasified.

– Gas fields (11 wells with the debit of up to 60 thousand cubic meters per day) have also been found in Velyky Berezny district near the village of Tykhy – Hennadiy Moskal said. – Surveys are being carried out in other parts of Transcarpathia too. At the session of the Regional Council, the majority of deputies gave the "Ukrgasvydobuvannya" PJSC the permission for the development of the gas fields discovered.
