Last weekend, the official awarding of winners of the fourth season of Uzhgorod Futsal League, the city’s open futsal championship, took place in the regional center. 32 clubs from the regional center, Mukachevo and even Mizhhirya district participated in the competition. The teams were divided into 4 leagues according to their ratings. In total, 14 tours were played. The highest division is the UFC Super League, which is also the Transcarpathian Zone of the Futsal Second League of Ukraine. The winner was FC Uzhnet, the silver medalist was FC Medea, the bronze medalist was Mukachevo Berkut. Oleksandr Bilak, the Advisor to the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council, awarded the winners.
The President and the inspirer of Uzhgorod Futsal League Oleksandra Terebets told about the results of the fourth season:
“As in previous seasons, 32 teams took part in the competition. Every year the number of applicants is increasing, but unfortunately, for infrastructure reason, we are not able to accept more than 32 participants. The Super League is a zone of the Futsal Second League of Ukraine, so this season continues for them. Very soon the teams will start playing 1/8 finals. This is the next stage of the competition, which the three winners of our group – FC Uzhnet, FC Medea and FC Berkut – will take part in. We hope that the players will show better results than last year, so we wish them success. And the winners of the Premier League will be able to represent the region at the All-Ukrainian amateur competitions. I am grateful to all the teams that participated in the Uzhgorod Futsal League season 19/20. Thanks to my team, organizing committee, friends and partners who have been there for the fourth season. The next season will be anniversary, so we will start preparing for it soon.”

PREMIER LEAGUE:
FC Choki
FC Timvir
