The Hetman of the Vysocina region Jiri Byehounek, the Chairman of the Regional Council Ivan Baloha, today, in the "PADIYUN", awarded the winners and runners-up of the school drawing competition "My native land".
Its organizers are the Vysocina region of the Czech Republic, the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the RSA and the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth "PADIYUN."
The competition was held among 7-10-year-old students of schools and after-school educational institutions from 16 cities and districts. Overall, the competition was attended by 698 children. 160 works – winners of city and district stages of the competition – were presented at the regional exhibition.
It was held in two stages – in May and June, at the level of districts (cities), and in August-September – at the regional level. Following the district (city) stage of the contest, 10 of the best works were selected for the regional stage – an exhibition that is held in the foyer on the second floor of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity "Padiyun."
State officials of Vysocina and Transcarpathia presented prizes to winners and runners-up of the competition "My native land". The first prize in the competition went to Judith Muzhayi, a seven-year-old pupil of Beregovo district educational and cultural center for national minorities for the work "Even heart sings at home." The second prize went to an eight-year-old pupil of Mizhhirya district House of children’s art at the Synevyr secondary school Olga Rosinko for the work "My Village". The third prize went to a ten-year-old Olga Verbyschuk, a pupil of Rakhiv district House of children’s art for the work "Big Family."
