The winners of the Bride Parade have been determined (PHOTOS)

The Parade of Brides that took place in Uzhgorod is not just a holiday but also a competition.

And winning an award in one of the nominations is a matter of prestige not only for girls but also for their support teams.   In each nomination they determine the best participant in classic and most original categories.

So here’s TOP-2013.

The best wedding hairstyle was made on Kateryna Denysenko by masters of the "Vintage" salon.

The most original one belongs to the Chess Queen, aka Alyona Novak, which was made in the "Podiumstyle" salon, and the chess board was made by Lyudmyla Bidyak.

As for the make-up, Yulia Baraban won in the classic category, and Khrystyna Kurtanych – in original genre, both by the make-up artist Heorhiy Heorhiyev.

The best wedding bouquet in classic style belonged to Anna Lisitsyna, and the most original one – a book bouquet – to Katya Denysenko, both made by the "Rodzynka" studio. 

Finally, the Grand Prix of the Parade of Brides – prizes for the dress. Victoria Shnitser won in the category of classic wedding dress. 

And the victory in the original category became the fifth award for Nataliya Zasukhina. Known Transcarpathian actress was a member of the jury during the first Parade of Brides, and since then she has traditionally participated with original images, and each year her looks have been recognized as the most original ones. This year’s witch with a broom-bouquet, a bag with Syerozhka, the cat, and the costume, decorated with bones and reptiles also drew attention of both the audience and the jury.

The bride, who wore a longest bridal train, and the author of the man-made wonder received a special award. According to Zsuzsanna Bohdan, who made this 22 meters 5 cantimeters long wonder, the knitting took 11 months of work and 31 kilometers and 80 meters of white thread, and the ornament consisted of 2,626 units. 

Unfortunately, this work did not receive the "Grand Prix" of the Parade, though it was recognized as the record. However, it is this train that this year’s Parade of Brides in Uzhgorod will be remembered for…
