The contest "Writing about Transcarpathia together" lasted exactly one month – from November 23 to December 23. Within this contest, the Ukrainian Wikipedia was replenished with over 300 quality articles about Transcarpathia.
The solemn awarding ceremony took place on Friday, January 4, in the presence of the jury, organizers and initiators of the competition.
According to the member of "Wikimedia Ukraine" Board Andriy Bondarenko, the selection of materials was very strict.
Thus, the greatest number of quality articles about Mukachevo in the Ukrainian Wikipedia within the contest was written by Ludmila Bandurchak, and therefore she received a tablet Asus Transformer Pad Infinity.
For the greatest number high-quality pictures of Transcarpathia, Yuri Krylivets (in a month he uploaded as many as 97 pictures) won a Canon EOS 1100D.
The participants, who took second places by the number of quality articles about Transcarpathia and Mukachevo, were also awarded.
All prizes were awarded by the member of "Wikimedia Ukraine" Board Andriy Bondarenko, deputy mayor of Mukachevo Ernest Nuser and entrepreneur Andriy Baloha, who initiated the competition.
