Today, the First Lady of Hungary Mrs. Anita Herceg visited Transcarpathia. She was welcomed by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko. Mrs. Anita Herceg, as the Goodwill Ambassador for the Maltese Aid Service in Hungary plans to visit "Lviv regional center of emergency medical care and disaster medicine" in Lviv.
The meeting was held at the checkpoint "Luzhanka-Beregsurany." Volodymyr Chubirko first of all thanked Mrs. Anita Herceg for the support that she initiates for our people. "We are pleased that our neighbors support us on the way to Europe. Frequent visits by delegations from the EU confirm your neighborly intentions. We value our friendship, support for our country at this difficult time," – the Chairman of the Regional Council said.
The First Lady said that she visits our country not only with a humanitarian mission, but primarily to express the support for the Ukrainian people. "Your country is in a difficult situation and we are trying to support you. We want to engage charitable organizations to it," – Anita Herceg said.
Recall that in early March, the First Lady of Hungary and the president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service Imre Kozma appealed to world charitable organizations asking to help Ukraine.
