According to the automated hydrological station Mukachevo of the Tisa River Basin Water Resources Administration, for the past day – from 8:00 on December 12 to 8:00 on December 13 – the water level in the Latorytsya river within Mukachevo has increased from 281 to about 387 centimeters.
The tendency to increase remains. The first level of protection is triggered when the water level reaches 450 cm. At present, there is no threat of flooding of Mukachevo due to the protection systems built in the city. Public utilities work are on alert.
