April 6, 0.4-0.8 m rise of the water levels on the Tisa river near the water post Chop is expected with retention of water on the floodplain between dams, in the lower reaches of the Borzhava, the Latorica and the Stara – the water will rise by 10-30 cm. Possible flooding of farmlands in Irshava, Vynogradiv and Mukachevo districts of Transcarpathian region and local roads. This was informed by the official site of the State Emergencies Service.
Today, the increase of the water level in the Ukrainian part near Vylkove is expected. It can reach a dangerous mark of 155-160 cm above the zero of gauge with initial flooding of lower uninhabited areas of the town of Vylkove.
