A video for Jamala’s winning song "1944" entitled "True 1944-2014", which shows the events of recent years related to the annexation of the Crimea and political repression, was posted online.
The video was edited by a 35-year-old former Lviv resident Dmytro Fedechko, a graduate of the University of Lviv, who now lives in the capital of Ukraine.
In his work, Dmytro gathered footage of the first days of the invasion of "little green men" to the Crimea, the beginning of political repression and resistance of Ukrainian soldiers. Over 15 hours, the video was viewed over 10 thousand times. Among the many enthusiastic comments, there are ones like this: "This video takes my breath away!"
