The Vice Prime Minister of Slovakia met with Transcarpathian students

On Thursday, September 11, the Vice Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak, the first deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Andriy Serbaylo, the Consul General of the Slovak Republic in Uzhgorod Janka Burianova, other distinguished guests attended the Faculty of International Relations of Uzhgorod National University. 

Today, "The Room of Ukrainian-Slovak Friendship" was opened at the Faculty of International Relations of UzhNU. Also, the Vice Prime Minister met with the students of the Faculty, where he spoke of full support of Slovakia in Ukraine’s fight for its territorial integrity.
 – Ukraine is now in a difficult situation, the whole world is watching the developments. Slovak Republic wants to see Ukraine a stable, successful European state. We support the territorial integrity of Ukraine, condemn the annexation of the Crimea. For the purpose of energy security of Ukraine, the reverse gas supplies from the territory of Slovakia have been launched recently. We hope for a speedy resolution of armed conflicts and support Ukraine in efforts to join the European Community – the Vice-Prime Minister said in his speech.
