This Thursday (11.01), an international wine festival under the original name "Vasyllya" will start in the regional center of Transcarpathia. The big holiday will be taking place on Nezalezhnist embankment for four days – until the holiday of Vasyl the Great on January 14. There, about fifty participants will unfold a large fair of wine, honey, cheese, farm products, delicious Transcarpathian dishes.
Wine makers from Ukraine and abroad will present their products at the festival. Wine producers from neighboring countries – Hungary, Romania, Poland and Slovakia – have confirmed their participation, in addition, wines from Macedonia will be presented at the fest. Besides Transcarpathian wine makers, producers from Lviv, Poltava and Ivano-Frankivsk region will take part in the event.
Guests will be entertained by musical groups from the stage on Teatralna Square.
Recall that the official opening of the "Vasyllya" International Festival will be held on Friday, January 12, on Teatralna Square, at 12 o’clock.
