Today, festive caroling procession marched through the streets of Uzhgorod. From Narodna Square, where the "Vasyllya" festival continues, carolers walked down the Nezalezhnist embankment, Korzo and Voloshin streets to the Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life for the traditional Christmas festival "Carols in the Old Village".
Other carolers and passersby joined the procession, together they performed various carols. Carolers from different corners of the region welcomed the procession in the Uzhgorod skansen with bread and salt. Here, in each hut, separate districts of the region presented their typical Christmas songs.
Also, on the territory of the museum, you could taste Transcarpathian dishes, buy products at the handmade fair, have your photo taken in the festive photo zone.
