The Uzhgorod railway track in Radvanska, where train cars recently derailed, will be repaired

Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv visited today Prykordonna street in the Radvanka neighborhood, where last week two railroad cars went off the track.

The Deputy Mayor Vasyl Homonay, the city chief architect Oleg Borshovsky, the head of the State Architecture and Construction Control Department Oleksandr Zotov, representatives of the railway company and the factory, to which building materials are supplied by this track, members of Uzhgorod City Council Miroslav Horvat and Yuriy Mandich also came to the meeting.

Residents of the houses near the track complained about the unsatisfactory condition of this segment of the railroad.

Bohdan Andriyiv gave an order to carry out repairs of this section of the railway in order to ensure delivery of the cargo that has accumulated in the warehouse.

During the conversation with representatives of the Roma community, a compromise was reached, and the issue is now settled, the Uzhgorod City Council press service reported.
