The Uzhgorod pensioner’s murderer extradited from Russia

The local elderly woman was found murdered in the village Onokitsci of Uzhgorod district at the beginning of the last year. The old woman illegally traded home-made wine because of what, in fact, she was deprived of life. The murderers took away from the victim’s house a few thousand hryvnia.

The police immediately arrested two attackers, but the main pensioner’s murderer – a 28-year-old previously convicted local young man managed to escape from the investigation and had been hiding in Russia for a long time. He was submitted in the police wanted list in November 2011 and arrested in Moscow. The Moscow police transferred the murderer to Ukraine after the extradition proceedings.

After he was transferred to Uzhgorod the district police investigator prosecuted him for the premeditated murder of an elderly woman (Part 1, ar. 115 Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The murderer is in Uzhgorod prison now and he faces up to 15 years of imprisonment,  informs the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
