The US Vice-Consul got acquainted with the medical institutions of Uzhgorod

On Wednesday, November 20, US Vice-Consul Karen Antonyan visited the Regional State Administration.

The Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration Oleksiy Hetmanenko, the Director of the Health Department of the Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov, the Deputy Chief Medical Officer of the Regional Cardiac Dispensary Maria Dotsenko, the Head of the Regional Clinical Hospital Yuri Yatsina, the Deputy Director of the Regional Clinical Center for Neurosurgery and Neurology Andriy Smolanka met with the honorable guest.

The US Embassy in Ukraine informs its citizens in need of medical assistance about available medical facilities in Ukraine. The US Vice-Consul decided to get acquainted with medical facilities in Uzhgorod personally and to exchange contact information for communication purposes.

The parties discussed cooperation in the field of monitoring of patients – US citizens in Transcarpathian region. They also spoke about rendering services to patients in medical institutions of the region and the procedure of transportation of foreigners to their homeland, the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
