The Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life invites you to plunge into the world of Easter egg painting

March 29, 2018 at 16:00, the opening of the IV Exhibition "World of Easter egg 2018" will take place.

About 30 participants from Uzhgorod and certain districts of Transcarpathia will present their works. The exhibition will feature Easter eggs in various traditional and modern techniques. This year, the exhibition will feature Easter eggs of different regions of Ukraine from the collection of the Museum of Easter Egg Painting from the city of Kolomyia in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Traditionally, individual displays will be formed of the collection of Uzhgorod Skansen and private collections. Those are Easter eggs, Easter baskets, faience dishes and traditional folk textiles (tablecloths, towels, napkins).

On the same day, the museum will host a master class on Easter egg painting in traditional wax technique, which will begin at 15.00. The master class will be conducted by Tsuniak Oleksandra from the city of Turka in Lviv region.
