The traffic police began to check carriers of Transcarpathian workers: two were stopped on the pass

May 17, traffic police inspectors at the stationary post "Nyzhni Vorota" stopped two "Mercedes" minibuses used to transport people to work in the Russian Federation. Those vehicles have been converted by installation of additional seats with substantial violations of the relevant standards. Thus, a 27-year-old resident of Tyachiv district. in addition to 9 sets allowed by the specification, installed another 6, and his 21-year-old colleague equipped his van with three additional seats.

Relevant administrative protocols were drawn up against the drivers, and they were prohibited further operation of the vehicles.

The analysis of road traffic accidents shows that the majority of accidents involving passenger vehicles, converted without observing the rules and standards, have serious consequences, because in such buses, usually, most of the requirements of technical regulations manual are violated.
