On June 26, at the initiative of the chairman of the NGO "Youth Initiative of Transcarpathia" Denys Sobolev, the traditional race "Palanok Mile" will be held in Mukachevo. "This year’s race "Palanok Mile" will be held on the 26th of June. Both beginners and experienced athletes will enjoy the track. The distance will be enough for athletes to test themselves in mountain running, thus preparing themselves for subsequent competitions. It is the sixth of the twelve races we have announced.
We invite everyone to take part in the traditional race to Mukachevo castle." – the organizer of the race, Denys Sobol said.
Route and distance of the run
Start is at the corner of Earl Schönborn street and Kuruc lane;
The main distance of the race is 1900 meters, the climb is 80 m, the pavement – cobbles, gravel, asphalt +50 castle steps. Finish is in the courtyard of the top castle, near the monument to Fedir Koriatovych;
The distance of athletes of younger (M/F-13) and senior (M/F-50) age groups is 900 meters, the climb is 68 m, the pavement – cobbles, gravel, asphalt +50 castle steps;
Time will be measured by a professional electronic chip system!
