On October 23, member of the board of the "NSTU" PJSC Mykola Chernotytsky announced the granting of the logo UA – a sort of a mark of quality of the Public TV – to another branch of the Public TV – Transcarpathian. Now, the "Tisa-1" TV channel will change its name to UA: ZAKARPATTYA.
"Transcarpathia is a multinational region, where we have 5 minority language offices. We are glad that the branch of the Public TV in this region has achieved a steady high performance and received the logo "UA:". Congratulations to the whole team!" – Mykola Chernotytsky, member of the board of the Public TV in charge of optimizing the central and regional structure said.
The decision to grant the new name to the Public TV branches is based on the results of monitoring the broadcast of all regional broadcasters. Leaders of creative areas monitor compliance with journalistic standards and values of the Public TV. In the current period, this regional branch has shown the best results and was recognized as meeting the quality standards of the Public TV.
Previously, new names for compliance with journalistic standards have already been granted to Sumy branch, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Odesa and Chernivtsi branches.
