Transcarpathians, who need statements of salary for calculation of pensions, now can receive them easier. The network of labor archives has been developed in the region.
These institutions are entrusted with keeping so-called personnel documentation – orders for personnel movement and salary.
Unfortunately, in the event of liquidation or reorganization of businesses, irresponsibility of some officials would often deprive former employees of the right to fair calculation of pensions. Today this situation is being rectified.
As of January 1, 33 facilities are already working in Transcarpathia. 2 labor archives were established at city councils, 4 – at district councils, 27 – at village councils.
Their total area is 860 square meters. These archival institutions keep almost 68 thousand units of personnel documents.
In the last year alone, more than 5 thousand Transcarpathians, who needed statements of salary for calculation of pensions, applied to the archives.
This year, labor archives are planned to be established in Khust and Irshava districts.
