The storm did cause damage in Uzhgorod

On the night of July 07, heavy rains and wind gusts led to the fall of trees on Kapushanska and Hrushevsky streets in the city of Uzhgorod.

In the first case, the tree damaged the hood of a Mercedes-Benz R 600 and the paintwork of a Mitsubishi Colt.

And on Hrushevsky street, the tree damaged a car VAZ 21099.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. The emergency relief works were carried out by officers of the special-purpose emergency rescue unit.

Yesterday, the works on the elimination of the consequences of falling trees were conducted by the rescuers in the villages Skotarske in Volovets district, as well as Hat and Chikosh in Beregovo district, the site of the regional Rescue Service informs.
