The state owes Transcarpathian water management workers 15 million

At the beginning of this year, the state owed employees of water management more than UAH 15 million for the flood protection works. Those are debts for 2012-2013.

In 2015, it was expected to allocate from the state budget UAH 28.4 million for protection from harmful effects of water and repayment of the debt.  As of the beginning of August, the debt was not repayed due to lack of funding. 

Contractors, who built the dam, try to recover their money in courts. The management of the region in turn, has appealed to the government asking to promptly repay the debt.
