The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine plans to check all individual entrepreneurs that closed their operations in late December 2016 – early January 2017 after amendments to the legislation on the single tax.
This was announced yesterday by the head of the SFS Roman Nasirov, the UNIAN reported.
"Many of those that closed, were non-operating business entities. And they had not been operating for a year or two. So it is not difficult to check them. But there were occasions, when we understood, but it was difficult to prove that the company was operating, but did not declare any profit," – he said.
According to Nasirov, along with the closure of non-operating entities, 28,000 new ones opened in January.
Recall that on December 27, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed amendments to the law on individual entrepreneurs, according to which, starting January 1, private entrepreneurs must pay single social contribution – 704 hryvnia per month – even if they have no income.
Meanwhile in Uzhgorod, at the end of last year, many entrepreneurs ceased their operations.
