The state-controlled media have received more than one million

Public media in the region, founded by local administrations and councils, have received in the first half of this year 1,113,000 UAH from local budgets of Transcarpathian region.

The largest amount among regional publications was allocated to the "Visnyk Beregivshchyny" – 123,000 UAH. A little less – 120,000 UAH – to the newspaper "Visti Uzhgorodschyny", 100,000 UAH – to the city paper "Uzhgorod", 93,000 UAH – to Volovets "Holos Verhoviny", 79,000 UAH – to the local newspaper "Beregovo", 60,000 UAH – to the Rakhiv paper "Zorya". Others have received less. Thus, Tyachiv "Druzhba" – 49,000 UAH, "Visti Svalyavshchyny" – 43,000 UAH and Mizhhirya "Verkhovina" – 38,000 UAH. Irshava newspaper "Nove Zhyttya" received from the local budget 23,000 UAH and Perechyn "Narodne Slovo" – 10,000 UAH

Not a penny has been allocated to finance the media in Vynogradiv district, in the cities of Mukachevo, Chop and in Mukachevo district. 200,000 UAH has been allocated to the newspaper of the Regional State Administration and the Regional Council "Novyny Zakarpattya" – the debt to the newspaper for 2013.
