The Spartakiada dedicated to the Day of the Forestry Worker took place in Velyky Bychkiv. 12 teams of foresters from Velyky Bychkiv Forestry Enterprise participated in it. This event was organized and conducted by the Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration and the foresters of the State Enterprise "V.Bychkiv Forestry".
It should be noted that promoting healthy lifestyles and exercising are important areas for forest managers who exercise daily. The Spartakiada once again proved that foresters are a tight team not only in work, but also in sport and team spirit.
– I think we are a serious team that can defend the forests of the Carpathians. Such events as Spartakiada bring people together, discipline people, there is a feeling of team spirit. This is an action that bands like-minded foresters who love the forest, who are ready to work for the benefit of the forest. Especially in this difficult time for the foresters and our state. Next year, we plan to hold regionwide sports events annually. I am sure that we will eventually come to the national level and we have support at all levels. We have the support from the leadership of the State Forestry Agency and our management understands that such events are needed," – the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration Valeriy Murha said.
According to the participants of the Spartakiada, such events promote the strengthening of corporate spirit, healthy competition and engage people in regular sporting activities. Conducting sports competitions becomes an element of the social policy of the Transcarpathian Regional Forest and Hunting Range Administration, which creates the conditions, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.
