The Head of the Transcarpathian Customs, Viktor Ivanus, on his Facebook page, reported an important and up-to-date information for Ukrainian citizens.
Another important information that is relevant to our citizens!
Due to the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus in the world, a number of countries are imposing significant restrictions on entry and exit for their own citizens and for foreigners. The situation at the borders is changing very fast!
We strongly recommend that all citizens of Ukraine who are staying in the Czech Republic for a short time (tourism, visiting relatives or friends, etc.) leave the territory of the Czech Republic during March 14-15.
You can still do it by air (you can use the letuska.cz portal or any other portal to find tickets). If you have the opportunity, take advantage of it without delay until Monday.
Until Saturday midnight, you can also leave the country via Poland by car or minibus (up to 9 people in the cabin). We urge Ukrainians to make the most of today’s window.
All those who will not be able to leave the country before 16.03 but need to get home, please send your contact details to the Embassy’s e-mail: konzulat@volny.cz. Please provide your name, contact telephone, e-mail, your temporary place of residence, availability of insurance policy (yes / no). We will inform you if there are special flights to Ukraine.
We also remind that citizens of Ukraine who have a trvalý pobyt, přechodný pobyt or 2-year work cards can leave the territory of the Czech Republic only until March 16.
If you find yourself in an emergency situation (passport loss, accidents, etc.), please call +420 222 995 117 (from 08.00 to 17.00) or email: kozulat@volny.cz.
If you have any signs of illness (fever, dry cough, shortness of breath), tell your insurance company by telephone, and if you do not have health insurance – any practitioner or hygienic station in your area (contacts: koronavirus.mzcr.cz).
