The SFS reported on the elimination of 401 “tax pits”

During May-June 2015, the State Fiscal Service eliminated 401 "tax pits".

This was stated in the press release of the Service.

As noted, operations of nearly 414 transit-conversion enterprises have been discontinued. During this period, they have revealed facts of illegal formation of value added tax rebate and VAT evasion in the amount of UAH 7.8 billion.

"We are fighting not only the consequences, but also preconditions, including corruption. Abuse, corruption, inefficient use of public funds – we have declared war to these phenomena" – the head of the SFS Roman Nasirov said.

The SFS reported that last month they opened 48 criminal proceedings over fictitious business.
